Customer service screenings rarely ask you to define terms. Most give you a short situation, such as an angry customer, a refund outside policy or a chat where you need time to check something, and ask you to pick the best response. Often two options look reasonable, and the better one is the response that solves the problem while protecting the relationship.

The questions here follow that format. The lessons explain a repeatable order for complaints and how to write chat replies that sound human, so you can reason through situations you have not seen before.

Benchmark: The pass mark on this site is 80%; scenario judgement tests are common for customer support, BPO, chat support and helpdesk roles. Requirements vary by employer.

Common questions

Are there trick questions in customer service tests?

Not usually, but several options can sound polite. The best one normally acknowledges the problem, stays within policy and gives the customer a clear next step.

Do I need customer service experience to pass?

No. Freshers can do well by learning the basic order of handling a complaint and thinking about how they would feel as the customer.

Is the right answer always the one that keeps the customer happiest?

No. Answers that break policy or promise something you cannot guarantee are usually wrong, even if the customer would like them.
