What the real round usually looks like
Most SEO interview tests are ten to twenty multiple-choice questions, sometimes followed by a short practical task. The pass mark is 80%, and this skill is commonly screened for SEO executive, content writer, digital marketing and web content roles. Requirements vary by employer, so treat the benchmark as a floor.

Common questions
Do I need coding skills for an entry-level SEO role?
No, but you should be able to read basic HTML such as title tags, headings, links and meta tags. Knowing what a redirect or canonical tag does matters more than writing code.
Is keyword density still important?
Not as a target number. Use the main term naturally in the title, a heading and the opening, then write to answer the searcher's question fully.
How long does SEO take to show results?
It varies by site, competition and how often the site is crawled, so avoid promising timelines. In interviews, say you would track progress through indexing, impressions and clicks over several weeks.
