What the real round usually looks like
Most C++ interview tests are ten to twenty multiple-choice questions, sometimes followed by a short practical task. The pass mark on this site is 80%, and C++ is commonly screened for systems, game, embedded and performance-focused developer roles. Requirements vary by employer, so treat the benchmark as a floor.

Common questions
Which C++ standard should I study?
Most screening questions use features from C++11 onward, such as auto, range-based for loops and smart pointers. C++17 is a safe baseline for practice.
Do I need to know C before C++?
It helps with pointers and memory, but it is not required. Modern C++ encourages references, containers and smart pointers in place of many C-style techniques.
How much of the STL should I know?
Know vector, string, map, unordered_map and set well, including insertion, lookup and iteration. A few algorithms such as sort and find are also worth knowing.
